A Trip Abroad Around Her Birthday
Her boyfriend had always wanted to take one international trip a year. His social plans kept getting in the way, so this trip was finally scheduled around her birthday.

The couple split flights and lodging. Beyond that, she paid for her visa, the rental car, gas, food, activities, and other expenses.

The day before her birthday, they visited a tourist spot with a steep cobblestone slope. She had an injured foot and was walking carefully.
